EN-MING HSU Pastry Chef Consultant
 
 
 
 Pastry Chef En-Ming Hsu resides in the Las Vegas, Nevada area where she runs a pastry consulting company. A native of Richmond, Virginia, En-Ming studied at the Culinary Institute of America in Hyde Park, New York marking the beginning of her journey through some of America's best hotels and restaurants. 
In 1994, En-Ming joined The Ritz-Carlton Chicago Hotel and served as Executive Pastry Chef from 1996 to 2004. Prior to that, En-Ming worked, amongst other establishments, at the renowned Lespinasse restaurant in New York City and at Patisserie Café Didier in Washington DC.
 
Originally a student of photography and studio arts, En-Ming mastered the art of chocolate and sugar showpiece work, classic and modern pastries, frozen desserts and specialty confections. En-Ming also enjoys exploring the local farmer's markets to find inspirations for her desserts. 
 
The results of her efforts are award winning:   
 
1997 -	Best Pastry Chef of the Year in AmericaGold Medal at the 8th  Annual Patisfrance Pastry Competition, New York City
1998 -	Top 10 Pastry Chefs in America
2001 - 	En-Ming served as Team Captain of the U.S. pastry team that took the Gold Medal at the Coupe du Monde de la Patisserie in Lyon, France.
