An enlightening early Sunday evening - Sunday Sep 27 16:00 – 18:00

We demonstrate the making of dough by hand in a trough outside and fire the oven. While the dough is resting we will move inside to show the documentary ‘Feeding the nation’ by Wessel van Huysteen. Afterwards we will make flammekuchen (an alsatian pizza) in the wood fired oven and will consume it with fresh lemonade or iced rooibos tea. Perhaps a short discussion about this eye opening, critical film will be part of this early evening. We will eat inside ile de pain on a cool day. A warm dessert baked in the wood fired oven and the handover of the funds to Child Welfare (Kindersorg) will conclude the evening.
